Hi friends, l'm Subash and I’m based in San Francisco. Originally, born and raised in Nepal and came to the US when I was about 11 years old.

My early interest in electronic music included a lot of melodic dubstep artists such as Illenium, Seven Lions, Slander, Nghtmre, and Said the Sky. As I started to get into DJ-ing, I started to fall in love with house music -- mostly basshouse which was a close tie to the music that I was listening to at the time.

My goal is to create a bridge between melodic dubstep and house. My music is all about striking that balance between emotional melodies paired with powerful basslines and energetic drops.

Aside from music itself, I love how my time as an artist has given space to a lot of my closer friends to connect and get to know each other. That by itself gives me enough to continue on this journey and project as DJ Soup.
